LIFE GROUPS

Armor of God Life Group

This life group is lead by Matt & Sara Gillilan.  They meet every Thursday at 6:00 pm for dinner in North Grand Junction. They provide the main course and everyone else brings a side. They are currently in a Wiersbe study on 1st Corinthians.

They are working through all the letters that the apostle Paul wrote in chronological order.

Our mission is to become more like Christ, and to fulfill the great commission!

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.

Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace

Ephesians  6:10-15

Yokefellows Life Group

This life group is lead by Tom and Kay Anderson. They meet…

Abundant Life Group

This life group is lead by Jordan and Tara Leone. They meet every Wednesday evening at 6 PM at their house in Fruita.

We are gathering in fellowship together and growing close with the Lord and one another while learning to live out His commission for us.

Barnabas Life Group

This life group is lead by Brennan & Morgan Sellers and Gil & Taneil Lawton. They meet once a month at the church right after the morning service for a potluck lunch, a time of fellowship, encouragement, and discussion. This life group is open to all who would like to participate and is a family friendly life group. Bring on the children!! All are welcome to come.

Let’s hold firmly to the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; and let’s consider how to encourage one another in love and good deeds, not abandoning our own meeting together, as is the habit of some people, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.

Hebrews 10:23-25

Junction Home Fellowship

This open life group led by Jeff and Linda Kemp has an outreach focus, inviting anyone from the community to come at any time.

They meet in north Grand Junction once a month typically on the 2nd or 3rd Saturday of each month at 6pm (see junctionfellowship.org website to confirm dates and for more info).

Beginning with a potluck and fellowship time, the focus shifts to praise & worship featuring learning scripture through song, followed by a Bible study to understand the context of the verse where the song was derived. Occasionally service opportunities will be offered.

All are welcome!

The Testament Life Group

This life group is led by David and Amy Ward. They meet every other Wednesday evening at 6:30 in their home NE of Fruita.

testament /tĕs′tə-mənt/

Something that serves as tangible proof or evidence of Christ’s love.

The Testament meets to build one another up in the love of Christ through the guidance of His Word.  Join us in digging through scripture as we seek to apply the truth of God’s Word to the daily action of our life.

“But I consider my life of no value to myself; my purpose is to finish my course and the ministry I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of God’s grace.”
